We know space matters and you don’t want to give up your favorite apps. But them cheaping out on their software development has paid off. We wanted to make the editor installable even when your Phone is low on space. And we allow you to create custom filters from any point in your editing history.

We put together a full guide to adjustment tools right inside the editor. Polarr offers several editing options and. This means you can run the editor in your Chrome browser or as a standalone application from the Chrome Launcher. The Polarr photo editor downloaded from its website, or within the Google Chrome Webstore. We did this by providing guidelines with enough education material for the more ambitious to make further changes on top of the pre-existing filters. Robust enough to handle editing beyond cropping and brightness control. We wanted to make preset filters second-class citizens, with people giving preference to creating their own filters. I don’t understand why Polarr changed the UI so dramatically and to such a poor design. I used the app multiple times a week to edit photos for a small business I work for. The UI design was intelligent and intuitive.

Review: Polarr is a Flexible Photo Editor for Many. Polarr was by far my favorite photo editing app in the market, and I was happy to upgrade to Pro. It has a lot of features for people to edit and create/share styles.

The software works online, and through native apps on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices. We designed a game-controller-like interface with easily draggable pads and squares, where all rendering of all adjustments happen in parallel. Polarr is a photo-editing app for iOS and Android that packs a punch. Polarr is a free online photo editor which allows users to create diverse photo effects by applying layers, filters and masks to their images, and later use these images in graphic design projects. We wanted to eliminate the “apply” or “confirm” buttons for intermediate photo editing steps, so photographers do not have to go back and forth two or three levels down in adjustment panels. Unlike most competing photo editing applications, Polarrs Photo Editor desktop app is only 5MB in size, while the Chrome app is only 3MB (and supports working offline). We wanted to design the controls to be maneuverable at a totally new level. These tools allow for both subtle and “artificially realistic” changes to the photos, as well as more drastic effects that do not damage the image quality of the photo. We wanted to create an editor around the essence of photography - not bloated with features, but having all the essential tools for advanced light and color controls. When we launched Polarr Photo Editor V2, people asked us, “Why another photo editor?” And now, we have to answer the same questions again, for our mobile version this time. This may come at the price of lacking some complexity. I absolutely loved this app, I used it for literally all of my editing for photos but now its not the same anymore as it used to be. Today, we’re releasing Polarr’s first iOS app, and it is different. Compared with industry behemoths Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop, this app is lightweight and easy-to-use.
